This striking one of a kind pair of earrings features premium tourmalinated quartz stones — some of the clearest and most vividly striated I’ve ever worked with. I selected them while studying jewelry in Tennessee, and saved them for just the right design. With jet-black tourmaline needles suspended in glassy quartz, they look like nature’s version of static electricity — sharp, grounded, and electric all at once.
 
To honor their beauty, I hand-carved each setting from wax and cast them in solid sterling silver. Large claw prongs hold the stones securely, while allowing the light to play through every angle. The result: a sleek, sculptural design that doesn’t compete with the stones, it elevates them.
