My name is Nina and I am an artist and the owner of Twistful Thinking!

 

I am 28 years old and my passions in life are my jewelry, learning new jewelry making techniques, cooking, spending time with my family, and cuddling my little rescue pup Stella.

I have an intense gratefulness for life and all it brings. About 13 years ago I became very sick and saw many doctors that were unable to diagnose my illness. One year after the symptoms had started, I was finally diagnosed with Lyme Disease. I began treatment but over many years I missed the majority "normal" life including going to school, starting any jobs, and having a social life. 

 

That's how Twistful Thinking started!

In 2015 I craved a creative outlet to keep my hands and mind busy and natural stones and wire became my medium. My creations started gaining traction with my friends and family and they encouraged me to continue and make my new passion into a business. Thankfully my health has never been better and I have now been a self taught jewelry artist and small business owner for over seven years!

 

Over the years I have been accepted into many festivals and art fairs in Michigan which I absolutely love because I get to meet so many new people and watch them get excited about something I created.

 

I have also worked hard to build a large community on social media of amazing likeminded people. Social media has been an incredible way to meet lifelong friends and fellow artists as well as my incredible customers!

 

Building this business and sharing my art has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I hope to continue bringing you high quality jewelry and decor that are infused with my positive energy for many years to come!
