All custom jewelry is handcrafted in my Michigan based studio using traditional metalsmithing techniques. No two pieces are ever exactly alike, variation is part of the magic.

The Custom Process

1. Submit the Custom Order Form
Share your vision, inspiration, timeline, and budget range.

2. Alignment & Design Direction
If your request feels like a good fit, I’ll reach out to discuss materials, design direction, pricing, and timing.

​

3. Design & Consultation Phase
Each custom request begins with a design and consultation phase, which includes reviewing your submission, developing initial design direction, sourcing considerations, and determining pricing and timeline.

A non-refundable design & consultation fee is required to begin this phase:

• $75 for demi-fine custom jewelry

• $150 for fine jewelry or engagement-style pieces

• ​

This fee honors the time, expertise, and creative energy required to thoughtfully develop custom work. It does not apply to the final cost of the piece.

4. Deposit & Scheduling
A non-refundable deposit reserves your place on my bench and allows materials to be sourced and scheduled.

​

5. Creation Phase
Your piece is brought to life by hand. Updates may be shared intuitively throughout the process.

​

6. Completion & Delivery
Once complete and paid in full, your piece is carefully packaged and shipped fully insured.

Pricing & Payment

Custom pricing reflects:

• Materials

• Labor and fabrication time

• Design complexity

• One-of-a-kind sourcing

Pricing is confirmed before work begins. A non-refundable deposit is required to move forward, with the remaining balance due prior to shipment.

Please note: precious metal and gemstone prices fluctuate. Quotes are time-sensitive until a deposit is received.

Timeline & Flow

Custom jewelry is not rushed.

• Typical turnaround: 8-12 weeks

• Engagement rings and complex designs may require additional time

• Rush requests may be subject to an added fee

If your piece is tied to a meaningful date (proposal, anniversary, gift), please include that information in your request.

Materials & Stones

I primarily work with:

• Sterling silver

• 10k, 14k, and 18k gold

• Ethically sourced gemstones and crystals

Stone availability varies. Many stones are naturally one-of-a-kind. When an exact match isn’t possible, I’ll offer thoughtfully chosen alternatives. Higher end stones can be sourced for you.

• Handmade pieces naturally include subtle variation

• I reserve the right to decline requests that don’t align with my scope, timeline, or creative direction

• I do not replicate other artists’ work
