I’ve been dreaming about creating the perfect everyday hoop for years.
Something effortless enough to reach for every morning, but with a little more personality than a perfect circle.
 
So I started with the familiar shape of a classic hoop…and let it drift.
 
The Drift Hoops take that classic silhouette and soften it into something more sculptural gently shifting in shape and thickness as they move around the ear. Familiar, but not quite expected. Refined, organic, and designed to look just as good worn alone as they do tucked into a carefully collected ear stack.
Because everyday jewelry doesn’t have to be basic.

The Drift Hoops are the second Signature Design from the Twistful Thinking Signature Collection and are available in two sizes: Petite and Classic.
 
The Petite Drift Hoops are the smaller of the two, measuring approximately 21 x 18mm. They're subtle enough to become the pair you reach for every day, while the sculptural silhouette gives them just enough personality to feel special.
 
Wear them alone as your everyday hoop, tuck them into a second piercing, mix your metals, or pair them with the Classic Drifts for a layered ear stack.
Each pair begins with my original hand-carved design and is individually cast using the traditional lost wax casting process before being carefully hand finished by me to a smooth, high-shine mirror finish.
 
And these babies are solid metal never hollow.
 
That gives them the substantial, luxurious feel of solid metal in your hand and on your ear.

Petite or Classic?
The Drift Hoops are available in two sizes, so you can choose exactly how much presence you want in your everyday hoop.
Petite — approximately 21 x 18mm
The smaller, more subtle version of the Drift silhouette. Perfect for everyday wear, second piercings, and building a layered ear stack.
Classic — approximately 32 x 29mm
The larger of the two, with a little more presence while still feeling effortless enough to wear every dang day.
 
And if you have multiple piercings? They're VERY cute together.
 
Petite + Classic were intentionally designed to play beautifully alongside one another, whether you keep your metals matching or mix them up for a stacked, collected look.

For nearly ten years, so much of the jewelry I created existed only once.
The Signature Collection is the next evolution of Twistful Thinking - a growing collection of sculptural designs that begin with my own artistic vision and can be recreated again and again without losing the hand of the maker behind them.
 
Every Signature Design begins at my bench.
The original form is created by hand, then each piece is individually cast and finished to order in the metal you choose.
 
The Echo Ring was the beginning.
The Drift Hoops are the next chapter.
 
A new silhouette, a new everyday staple, and another little piece of the design language I’m building one piece at a time.

Are the Drift Hoops hollow?
Nope! The Drift Hoops are solid metal, never hollow. This gives them the substantial, luxurious feel I wanted from the design while allowing the sculptural shape and changing thickness of the hoop to really shine.
 
What is the difference between Petite and Classic?
Both sizes share the same sculptural Drift silhouette.
Petite measures approximately 21 x 18mm and offers a smaller, more subtle everyday hoop.
Classic measures approximately 32 x 29mm and gives the design a little more presence on the ear.
They're also VERY cute worn together if you have multiple piercings.
 
Is every pair of Drift Hoops made to order?
Yes. Every pair is individually made to order in the metal you choose, cast from my original design using the traditional lost wax casting process, and hand finished by me.
 
How long will it take to make my earrings?
Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for your Drift Hoops to be handcrafted before shipping.
 
What kind of earring backs do they have?
The Drift Hoops use a standard post with a butterfly back.
Sterling silver and yellow gold pairs have matching posts and backs. Bronze pairs are made with sterling silver posts and backs for a more skin-friendly option at the piercing.
 
Which size should I choose?
If you love a smaller everyday hoop, have multiple piercings, or want something especially easy to incorporate into an ear stack, Petite may be your girl. If you want the sculptural Drift silhouette to make a little more of a statement, go Classic.
