This one of a kind ring features a clear kite shaped quartz set entirely by hand in a hand fabricated sterling silver setting. But the part I really love about this one is what’s happening behind the stone.
 
Before setting the quartz, I added texture to the silver underneath it. Because the stone is beautifully clear, you can see that texture through the quartz, creating subtle movement and dimension that changes depending on the angle and the light. It almost becomes part of the stone itself.
 
A simple half round sterling silver band and soft satin finish keep the rest of the design intentionally understated, letting the unusual shape and hidden texture take center stage.
 
Clear quartz has traditionally been associated with clarity, intention, focus, and amplifying energy. It’s often considered a stone for clearing out the noise and bringing a little more intention to whatever you’re moving toward.
