I was immediately drawn to this stone because I’ve honestly never seen anything quite like it before.
This one-of-a-kind necklace features a beautiful yin yang stone made up of black onyx and howlite, which felt especially fitting since this piece is all about balance and contrast. I built a hand fabricated sterling silver setting around the stone and added a decorative border to give it a little extra detail and texture.
To tie everything together, I incorporated solid 14k yellow gold connecting rings and paired the pendant with a dainty double stranded mixed metal chain made from sterling silver and 14k yellow gold filled links.
I love that this piece feels bold while still being easy to wear every day. It feels a little earthy, a little modern, and like the kind of piece that becomes part of your regular rotation.
