From my hands to yours, this one-of-a-kind piece is part of my Salt & Spell mini collection, inspired by still water, soft light, and the quiet magic of reflection.
 
This necklace features a large, mirror-like hematite stone set in a hand fabricated sterling silver setting, framed with a rope border detail that gives it a subtle, vintage, ocean-worn feel. The surface of the stone catches and reflects what’s in front of it - almost like a tiny reflection pool - giving the piece its name.
 
It’s paired with a textured paperclip chain that catches the light beautifully, finished with a 2" extender so you can adjust the length depending on how you want to wear it. I added a hand applied patina and polished back the highlights to create depth, contrast, and that soft, lived-in texture I love.
 
Hematite is often associated with grounding and protection helping to anchor your energy and bring you back to yourself. This piece feels like coming back to center…a quiet, reflective kind of strength, and a reminder to see yourself clearly.
