5 ways to tap into the sacred power of crystals

Crystals have been long revered by many cultures for their soothing and healing properties. As you may know, there are many different types, each with its own unique benefits. Here’s a look at how you can use them in your everyday life to derive physical, emotional and spiritual benefits.

1. Bathtime Take your bath to the next level by dropping water-safe stones into the water. Be intentional and select gems aligned with your intentions. Take several deep breaths, close your eyes, and make your intention known. Then let the crystals do their work and recenter you.

2. Meditation Physically embracing a certain crystal while meditating can help draw out its properties. Choose your gem, exhale, close your eyes and quiet the chatter in your head. Hold it and imagine it serving your intention. Hone in on your breath as you feel its energy entering your physical body.

3. Physical contact Strategically placing these stones can clear out blockages and make space for healing or whatever your heart’s desire. Place it on or around the chakra you wish to work on, and then envision its vibrations blessing you. Continue as long as you feel necessary and then finish with some breath work and words of gratitude for the blessings it bestows.

4. Sleep Crystals can work wonders even when you’re at rest! Try this ritual: Before turning in, dim your lights, hold your stone, and inhale and exhale a few times. Picture the crystal bestowing its energy on you and offering the gift of deep and restorative sleep. You might place it under your pillowcase or under your pillow to deepen your connection.
